July 19, 2023

Our beloved Amanda passed away yesterday morning.  Austin shared this on his Facebook page:

October 27, 1984 – July 18, 2023

We are going to miss her everyday but thankful she is with her Savior that she loved, lived for, and cherished more than anything else.

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15

Well done, good and faithful servant. Matthew 25:23

Amanda deeply desired all those who are able to please attend her memorial.  It was her hope that the visual and physical presence of loved ones there would give great support and comfort to Austin, Wyatt, and Claire.

Amanda’s Celebration of Life:

WHEN: Saturday, July 29th at 2PM

WHERE: Fellowship Bible Church, 3447 AR-112, Fayetteville, AR 72704

The celebration will be live streamed on YouTube. Click here to access the live stream link.

We also invite friends and family to bring any of Amanda’s original art or creations that she has gifted them over the years, if that is possible with travel. We will be displaying her work in the lobby for everyone to appreciate. If it’s wearable art, please feel free to wear it for all to admire.

In honor of Amanda’s love for flowers and plants, we will be creating a living garden at her memorial in place of cut flower arrangements. We will be purchasing potted flowers and plants to line the stage and then be handed out to loved ones afterwards.  If you would like to contribute to this container garden you can either bring a potted flower or plant to the service or contribute funds via Venmo here: @rachel_k_makes. Please include any thoughts or wishes you want to convey to the family in the “What’s This For” box.

She also asked anyone who wished to help with meals or give financially to please give to their Go Fund Me.  Here Austin and the kids will continue to have access to funds that will help them in so many ways moving forward.

Thank you for your generosity and for your continued prayers for Austin, Wyatt and Claire.  May the peace of Christ be a comfort to us all.
